James Miles

James Miles is an edu­ca­tor, researcher and PhD can­di­date at OISE/University of Toron­to in the depart­ment of Cur­ricu­lum, Teach­ing and Learn­ing. His research explores the inter­sec­tions of his­tor­i­cal con­scious­ness, his­tor­i­cal injus­tice and dif­fi­cult knowl­edge. His work with The Ped­a­gog­i­cal Impulse focus­es on the his­to­ry of Fluxus and the ongo­ing influ­ence of avant-garde artists on cur­ricu­lum and pedagogy.
