Anise Truman

Anise Tru­man is cur­rent­ly an MT stu­dent at OISE and research assis­tant for The Ped­a­gog­i­cal Impulse and Walk­ingLab. She com­plet­ed her under­grad in soci­ol­o­gy at McMas­ter uni­ver­si­ty. Her research inter­ests include cul­tur­al­ly respon­sive ped­a­gogy, the inte­gra­tion of music in the class­room, envi­ron­men­tal jus­tice in edu­ca­tion, and the inter­sec­tion of the arts and ped­a­gog­i­cal prac­tices. She enjoys work­ing with urban, new­com­er, and ELL students.
