Amy Meleca

Amy Mele­ca is a Mas­ter of Teach­ing stu­dent at OISE. She earned her Mas­ter of Arts in Inter­dis­ci­pli­nary Art, Media, and Design from OCAD Uni­ver­si­ty and a Bach­e­lor of Fine Arts from York Uni­ver­si­ty. Her artis­tic prac­tice explores the inter­sec­tion between self-image and per­for­ma­tive prac­tice in self-por­trai­ture, from Sur­re­al­ism to the 1960s.  At OISE, her research and prac­tice com­bine to explore how art-based meth­ods can shape pedagogy.
